HOW TO APPLY

For the inaugural edition, the d3 Awards invites architects and designers to submit conceptual design proposals that explore community-driven spatial design, encompassing interior and exterior spaces, architectural forms, and immersive built environments.

Applicants are required to submit their conceptual entries with a short statement on the concept and images. Designs should take a responsible and forward-thinking approach, prioritising sustainable materials, passive design strategies, and adaptability. They should also demonstrate how design can foster inclusivity and accessibility, while creating spaces that serve communities and respond thoughtfully to their environmental context.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to showcase their proposals at the d3 Architecture Exhibition during Dubai Design Week, held from 4 - 9 November 2025, where the winner will be announced.

The winning design will be selected by a jury panel of design professionals, curators, and industry leaders in the design field. The proposals will be evaluated based on the predefined criteria, originality of the design, and relevance to the theme.
