Andrea Cuman, PhD, is International Relations Manager for Studiolabo/Fuorisalone.it. He co-authored the documentary Milano Design Capital and wrote the history of Milan’s Design Week for Electa’s book XXXY – 30 Years of Fuorisalone. 1990–2020. Milano Design Stories. He lectures regularly for national and international institutions on Milan’s Design Week, urban events, and place branding. 

He teaches Communication for Creative Industries at UCSC and has been Adjunct Professor of the course “Reading Milan and Italian Cities: Place-Making and Cultural Practices.” He previously worked with the Marketing and Communication Department at Triennale di Milano and with Edizioni Zero, contributing to Milan’s city guides and curating the exhibition “Signs of Another City.”
